"You people who feel you are critical thinkers and just blindly believe people like Michael Shermer at face value without personally verifying anything that he 'preaches' are, in actuality, gullible blind faith believing fools!! From my studies Shermer is INCORRECT about Ganesh being the most worshiped deity in India. At least, not in the sense that Ganesh is considered the supreme deity in India. From my studies. Ganesh is worshiped to remove the obstacles that keep one's prayers from being as effective as they could be when praying to the Supreme, usually in the form of Vishnu or Shiva. Shermer leaves one with the impression that Ganesh is considered the Supreme deity in India and, in that sense, I believe Michael Shermer is indeed incorrect!

In the final analysis I strongly believe that who you say you believe in is not the main issue. The main issue is how you strive to live your lives. As far as I am concerned, it seems ridiculous that human consciousness and intelligence came into being by "accident". To blindly feel that everything that is has come into being by "accident", as these atheist Shermer types blindly tend to believe, is ridiculous to me.

Science blind people like Michael Shermer tend to act absolutely certain about things they are, in actuality, NOT ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN OF!!! In this video Shermer essentially says that it is instinctively the way of animals, and humans, to wisely assume that any rustle in the bushes may very well be a predatory animal of some sort; just to be on the safe side. That is the way animals in nature tend to react. From my studies, they don't take any chances in a world where everything seems to be eating everything else.

Expand this concept and consider that it is not wise to take your chances and blindly assume there is no predatory type of God who will eventually judge you by the way you lived. I say: THE WISE WILL STRIVE TO LIVE A GOOD, STRONG, HEALTHY, LOVINGLY GRATEFUL & APPRECIATIVE LIFE just in case there is a God who will eventually judge them for the ways that they lived.

If you pride yourselves on being critical thinkers then I strongly suggest you ruthlessly critically think about ANYTHING this Michael Shermer states and not accept it all on BLIND FAITH!!!

C'mon folks. Let's get real. Take a proverbial step back and consider people like Leonardo Da Vinci and the great musical and artistic masters of the past. Now, does it really make sense that their intelligence and inspiration all existed...by accident? If you truly think for yourselves I'm sure you will agree that this "accident" THEORY of atheist scientists is ridiculous! To believe it on blind faith in science is even MORE ridiculous!!"

"The problem, I see, with science is that it was 'born' out of violent, WELL JUSTIFIED, rage against the Christian religion. Heck, If my loved ones or friends were tortured to death for being original thinkers I would be violently bitter against the church as well, for crying out loud!!!

Things have changed. The Christian church no longer tortures people to death for not blindly believing their religious doctrine...or so I am led to believe. However, science in general has not changed in its overall agenda of trying to destroy all faith in God.

People like Shermer don't want to admit that science is basically divided into two camps: Those who believe there is no super intelligence guiding and sustaining the universe and those who do believe in the possibility of a super intelligent consciousness guiding and sustaining the reality we experience.

Each side of this debate has their purported "experts" with fancy sounding rhetoric to support their stances. Each acts as though their respective authorities are absolutely correct. To me it is a ridiculous clown show! Acting as though you are certain of things you are not actually certain of is just plain ridiculous! I say, the wise will leave the matter open and be ready for any new discoveries to alter their current views on the true nature of reality"

"Well, what's the matter? Have I single-handedly defeated ALL you blind faith skeptics and put you in your place? Hey, that's quite impressive, if you think about it. From my studies I now believe that, since it's inception, MK-Ultra mind control techniques have been secretly transferred to the television media. I believe there is a segment of the Larry King interview that got Benny Hinn all steamed up and angry at Joel Osteen. The fool Hinn is absolutely certain Jesus said every single thing attributed to Him in the Bible. HINN HAS NO PROOF OF THIS!!! However, I believe, EVERYONE has proof enough that the current ending to the Biblical Book of Mark IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ENDING!!! The Book of Mark WAS TAMPERED WITH!!!

If you don't believe me look into the matter and you should find that the original Book of Mark ended when everyone ran from Jesus' tomb in terror!!! So, we have clear evidence that at least one Biblical book has been tampered with; a book canonized by both Catholics and Protestants!!! What does that say? BE VERY SUSPICIOUS OF THE BIBLE AND DON'T BLINDLY BELIEVE EVERY WORD TO BE INFALLIBLY AND INERRANTLY TRUE!!! If you are wise you will take my advice.

Blind faith fools seem to feel that they can do whatever they like as long as they keep saying "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus". SORRY BUT, if you persist in doing evil it doesn't matter what name you call on!!!!! So don't be condemning others because they don't say "Jesus" enough to suit your Christian fancy!!! Look into the possible tampering of your "holy book" before you go condemning others for believing in God differently!!!

You know, it's really interesting to note that, first of all, I don't like Joel Osteen. I just don't like the guy and I don't trust him. HOWEVER, it seems to me MANY Christian pastors are condemning Mr Osteen OUT OF JEALOUSY while I have, so far, not seen so much as a single interview where Joel Osteen condemns ANYONE!!!

Mr Osteen obviously does not feel qualified to pass judgment against ANYONE while these other OBVIOUSLY JEALOUS pastors see it as "righteousness" to pass heinous condemnation against Mr Osteen. If they eventually are judged by God the way they judge, as their Bible says, I would imagine those condemning pastors are in very, very big trouble!!!!

I don't know if Jesus actually existed, as the Bible says He did, but I do know that the story of Jesus overall inspires me to be loving, forgiving and merciful. It DOES NOT inspire me to condemn others who don't believe exactly as I do, but...that's me. Christians who accept the Bible as though Jesus said every single word exactly as written are usually the ones who go around condemning others who don't believe as they do.

Chopra answers Michael Shermer's questions and the answers bounce off his thick head leaving no impression whatsoever. So Shermer ends up as though the questions were not answered at all. This is one of the sure signs of the spiritually comatose dead.

The only way I know of to make any real spiritual progress is to control and stop the internal dialogue AT WILL. Until Michael Shermer can get past his preconceived notions of what reality is he can never experience reality directly. The reality he perceives will ALWAYS be filtered and limited by what Shermer THINKS reality is.

For example, when he knocks on his electronic pad quantum science says he is not actually knocking on anything solid. He is knocking on energy that SEEMS solid and that solidity is an illusion. THAT'S THE SCIENCE Shermer supposedly believes in and yet...he obviously doesn't believe it!!!!! MAKE UP YOUR MIND, SHERMER. EITHER YOU BELIEVE SCIENCE OR YOU DON'T!!!!

Shermer's problem is he feels if there is a God he MUST be able to comfortably fit in Shermer's preconceived notion of reality. HOWEVER, there is no more room in Shermer's proverbial cup for anything to fit!!! Shermer's mind is like an unbroken chain of certainties he refuses to accept may be incorrect in any way. Shermer is dead certain reality is totally the way it appears no matter what new discoveries in Quantum Physics may state.

The concept of TEMPORARILY erasing one's personal history can only be PROPERLY accomplished through advanced meditation where one develops the ability to stop one's internal dialogue at will. Until Michael Shermer can do this I believe he will never be able to get past the barrier of his preconceived notions of what he THINKS reality is.

Here's the core problem, as I see it: Unless a person's spiritual body is awakened and properly 'breathing' it can be like trying to explain the sentient nature of the universe to someone who is literally asleep. They can't understand. They can't conceive it to be real.

If Deepak is going to convince the spiritually comatose asleep that there truly is an intelligence behind the reality we are experiencing YOU HAVE TO SHOW THEM!!!! If you cannot show them all you have are words and they will counter with their words.

The final outcome will always be a stalemate; even as it has always been. Deepak will never convince them and they will never convince Deepak. However, I must admit that at least Deepak has the courage to confront the atheist skeptics in a public forum. That takes guts alright and I applaud him for that!

Obviously, there are scientists who feel there is a controlling intelligence behind the reality we experience and there are scientists who do not and this expands into the field of quantum mechanics. Each side of the proverbial coin has scientists who are firmly convinced THEIR particular point of view is the most correct. Until someone SHOWS THEM DIFFERENT chances are it will always remain this way for, I feel, words will NOT awaken the spiritually comatose asleep and that's all there is to it!

Notice how Michael Shermer is so spiritually comatose dead he can't even respond to Deepak. All he can really do is say he's wrong. If it wasn't for the other guy Shermer would be exposed, by Deepak, as THE IDIOT HE TRULY IS!!!!!
