((( HEIFETZ INSPIRATION )))

It's interesting to note that most of all my lead guitar playing is original
I enjoy exercising my original creativity through improvising lead breaks
I most certainly play lead guitar much more than rhythm nowadays

Many of the English rock legends, like Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page
gained their inspiration through studying and emulating the great blues legends of America
They would treat whatever old blues records they could find, in England, like precious gold
Such records were hard to find, in England, at the time

I, on the other hand, approach rock music from a Brazilian Jazz angle
Rather than being inspired by old black blues men, I am inspired by videos like this

The core of my lead guitar playing is Latin in nature and leans more towards Carlos Santana
than it does towards people like Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page
Still, I do emulate the great rock legends of the Baby Boomer generation
although it's interesting to note that I have NEVER heard Carlos Santana
playing ANY Brazilian Jazz. Not so much as ONE SONG!!!
