A COMMENT SOMEONE MADE ABOUT THE ABOVE VIDEO:

"To take an epistemological approach, Krauss starts right off with a deft bait and switch. He starts talking about "nothing" and then proceeds to describe a non-nothing reality. When we talk about "nothing" in relation to the origin of "everything" we truly mean NOTHING. That is the absence of space-time. The absence of zero point energy. The absence of virtual particles. So he is not really addressing the idea of "something" arising from "nothing". He's playing a shell game.

Next, were these energies and virtual particles operative in the non-material, non-spatial, non-temporal reality that preceeded the universe's coming into existence? We dont know. There's no way to know. To assume they were is a HUGE leap of faith. And if we DO assume they were operative where did they come from? The question of origins is still not answered. 

Then there's the problem of these subatomic particles whixh appear and disappear at random. Here's the thing, are these "new" particles that are appearing out of nowhere? Or are they old particles that are disappearing somewhere else and then reappearing where observed? Again, we dont know. There may actually be nothing new arising from this quantum state. And did you notice that the only thing appearing and disappearing are the simplest expression of matter? Nothing ever more complex. There aren't any elephants randomly appearing in people's homes. To make the stretch from the simplest form of matter randomly appearing to the whole entire universe appearing out of nowhere is just too ridiculous to consider. Of course, that doesn't stop people who rather believe anything than face the consequence of a creator God.

4 things wrong with Krauss thesis

1. He doesn't really start from "nothing".

2. He assumes the existence of conditions for which he has no evidence and cannot answer the questions , "if these energies exists without space-time, where do they come from"?

3. He points to an observation (random appearance of particles) but cannot explain the mechanism of their appearance and cannot prove that this is "new" matter.

4. He jumps from the simplest form of matter to the most complex of systems without justification." 

I've decided everyone has the right to believe whatever they like 

I believe in a miraculous universe

I also no longer believe in religion

I believe there is much hope in the emerging science of consciousness and quantum theory

Whether you believe this or not is irrelevant. It CURRENTLY serves me to believe this. I don't see myself going back to being an atheist. Bin there, done that

If people are happy being atheists, or Mormons, or whatever I don't see it as a nice thing to ruin their happiness in any way with my CURRENT beliefs. After all, my beliefs are always up for improvement. They may change drastically tomorrow!

I've told them all that I have let the matter go

Boy, was I ever an idiot

for arguing with them in the first place!


It's as though I suddenly woke up

and realized how foolish I was

I honestly feel I have advanced past that point

UPDATE  6/16/2014:

I've found that if a lesson in life is going to be applicable one must LIVE IT and experience the benefits. I KNEW, or thought I knew, that it was a waste of myself arguing with people on the Internet. Once I have established that I had learned all the lessons I needed to learn all arguments should have ceased. 

However, in my self-indulgent ignorance, I would continue insulting the moronic idiots for being gullibly blindly trusting in science and the more I would insult them the angrier they would become. It was an endless cycle of moronic idiocy.

Then, on Father's Day weekend I felt I finally woke up and realized my idiotic folly. Suddenly what I had LEARNED became an active part of my life. I let go of all arguments about evolution and the birth of the universe and graciously allowed the idiots to believe whatever they like. I am STILL getting YouTube notifications from morons who want to argue and I refuse to yield to the temptation.

The true belief in the Sentient Force that brings everything into being is a personal one. It cannot be proven scientifically, but it can indeed be experienced. Either you are in tune with your Source, or you are not. If you are not in tune with your Source nothing will convince you. If you ARE in tune with your Source you don't need to convince anyone else of it.

A SHARED COMMENT OF MINE:

It is my CURRENT understanding that what man calls "God" is a very limiting term. It points towards something beyond limited comprehension and is not bound between the covers of any human book.

God is without beginning or ending. He always was, is and evermore shall be. Since God can't die and is One he has fantasies of being what He is not. The Universe is God's playground through which He lives out His fantasies. God goes out of His way to make creation as complicated and difficult as possible in order to TRY to make creating a challenge. Alas, no matter how hard God tries He just can't make things difficult enough and this is the core cause of His frustration.

Being "all-powerful" and "all-knowing" eventually leads to ALL-BOREDOM. It is the boredom of God that gives rise to evil. Having things sweet, nice and wonderful all the time eventually becomes BORING TO HELL!!!! So making things extremely complicated is God's way of TRYING to make His Creating a challenge. God has no real challenges and this is the core of God's frustration.

GOD FANTASIZES BEING US. God is jealous of us because our problems are easy for Him to solve and fix. His problem, however, is not easy to fix and it's driving God crazy. The more crazy with boredom God becomes the more insane His creation becomes. Supposedly, the madness you see in the human race is happening throughout all the galaxies in the universe. We're headed for something BIG and it's not going to be very nice for most of humanity. Hell is on the way!!! The hell of a God gone mad with boredom!!!

The five near-death experiences I went through were TREMENDOUSLY PAINFUL. My relationship with the Lord has not come easy. Even now I am paying my dues in suffering in order to have a more direct and clear relationship with the Spirit of Intent, or what humans call: God

I'm always ready to find I am incorrect about ANYTHING I currently believe. I'm perpetually testing any and all supposed messages. I have shared what I have received and it may be incorrect, but these revelations keep getting stronger and stronger. I'm more certain than ever that I am indeed correct in this about the Nature of God.

My hope and prayers are that I will never qualify to be any "prophet of God" because I can't control my cursing when I get angry. I'm sure you will agree that I'm nowhere near tactful enough to be God's representative. My goal is to keep God laughing and happy so that He doesn't do what He intends to do with humanity until after I am dead. That is my overall goal: to postpone God's Wrath as long as I possibly can!
