I find this to be an astonishing concert

I wasn't expecting much being how old the sound recording is

However, with no backing band,

they really did their big hits tremendous justice

I never would have believed it!

I'm in the process of learning a couple of other

Karaoke versions of their songs

from the Sounds of Silence recording

One of the songs I used to sing was, you guessed it...

SOUNDS OF SILENCE

Not so easy to do Simon & Garfunkel justice

when you are singing solo

However, since I aim for the miraculous
I'll give it a go!

If everyone was deaf, would a tree falling in the forest make any sound?

A tree falling in the forest makes NO SOUND to a deaf person, period!

So, when we hear a sound what we are 'hearing' 

is a 'downloaded' representation of that sound

in the computer of our brains!

The reality we experience is the 'downloaded' representation 

of what we experience with our five-senses.

It is NOT reality. It is an INTERPRETATION 

of a small portion of some vast mysterious something out there

We are trained to call it "reality", 

but it is proving to be much, much more mysterious

than what our extremely limited senses tell us

The brain is proving to be some sort of organic computer

which supports the concept of all the Universe being

some sort of organic computer simulation

THE UNIVERSE A COMPUTER SIMULATION

So, the reality we experience is a reflection of our five-senses
which we KNOW FOR A FACT are easily tricked

That's why magic tricks astound us
because our five-senses are easily tricked!!

We are, apparently, living in an unfathomable mystery
and we are BRAINWASHED to call this mystery: reality,
but the "reality" we were brainwashed to believe was solid
is proving to be NOT SOLID AT ALL!!!

The sense of "solidity" is an illusion which justifies
what advanced Hindus and Buddhists have been saying all along!!

MAYA: ILLUSION

I suggest you keep this in mind before you are absolutely certain
just what is "real" and what is not about what I am presenting
